About Corin Commercial

A licensed broker, not a lender.

Corin Commercial, Inc. is a California real estate corporation. We arrange commercial real estate loans for owners, buyers and builders of senior living, hotel and multifamily properties, including construction and hard money loans.

How we work

  • We arrange the loan for you

Our job is to find the structure and the lender that fit your property and your plans, and to negotiate for you. We compare programs on all-in cost, not on rate alone.

  • We are not the lender

Corin Commercial is a real estate broker, not a lender. Lenders make all credit decisions and fund loans as lender of record. Corin never holds, transfers, or disburses loan funds and does not service loans.

  • Advisors lead every deal

Our tools produce first-pass sizing and summaries so advisors spend their time on structure and lenders. A licensed advisor reviews every engagement. Automatic confirmations and reminders use templates a broker approved in advance, and nothing goes to a lender without an advisor's approval.

  • Honest about what we know

Sizing results are estimates for discussion. They are not approvals or commitments. Only a lender can approve a loan, in writing.

What broker means for you

The line between broker and lender decides who holds your money and who makes the credit decision.

What Corin does

  • Finds, compares and negotiates with lenders on your behalf.
  • Packages your file and coordinates third-party reports.
  • Gives you the required disclosures, including the Mortgage Loan Disclosure Statement.

What Corin does not do

  • Make credit decisions. The lender underwrites and funds as lender of record.
  • Accept, hold, transfer or disburse borrower, investor or loan funds.
  • Service loans, or take part in construction draws, draw inspections or lien waivers.

Details are on the licensing and disclosures page, including how we are paid.

What working with us looks like

Timelines are typical ranges after a complete file and are subject to lender approval, appraisal, title, and diligence. They are not guaranteed.
  1. Step 1

    Tell us about the property

Send the basics in about a minute, or talk to an advisor. We ask for the property, the plan and the loan you have in mind.

  2. Step 2

    We size and compare structures

An advisor reviews the programs that may fit, such as HUD, SBA, CMBS, agency, bridge, construction and hard money, and explains the trade-offs.

  3. Step 3

    We take it to lenders

With your go-ahead, we package the file and approach lenders that fit. Lenders underwrite and decide.

  4. Step 4

    Disclosures and closing

On loans secured by real property you receive a Mortgage Loan Disclosure Statement before you are obligated. The lender closes and funds the loan.
